I haven’t been around for a few weeks but I will not apologize because we have been at the ends of the earth hunting Dogtooth Tuna and other pelagics. It has been a difficult, demanding, and rewarding trip at the same time.
Each year I hear of guys shooting monster dogtooth around the world and many are lost and hearts broken. I’ve been down that same road before and a few years ago after spending way too many days and weeks looking was lucky enough to land a 201 lb Tuna that at the time smashed the world record by more than 15 lbs and blew myself and the spearfishing world away.
That record has held and not been challenged, until now.
On this trip I’ve seen two fish blow that record out of the water and have never been prouder to share time with my friends and do what we love.
I don’t want to share too much yet but the record for Dogtooth Tuna has fallen, twice within 6 hours and the pictures and video are going to blow you away.
Stay tuned…
