(When I first was sent this video by my buddy in Key West it only had 360 hits, within ten days of it being posted on Spearblog.com it had gone viral and had more than half a million! This video will never get old. I still watch it every few days for a good laugh )
This is one of the funniest and most spectacular videos I’ve seen in a while. The fact that we were diving here all last week before I came to New Zealand reminds me that we are not alone!
The best part is at the very end when you get an idea of how big the boat is. Hahaha!!! We have all grown up fishing in some little less than sea worthy craft and to see something the is legitimately twice the size of your boat would have you shaking too!
And then of course there is always that friend (usually me and you) who despite the obvious fact that Jaws is about to eat your boat, is still enticing it to come closer or try to catch it.

That is an awesome video. I like the one guy in the background whining about how doesn’t feel safe.
That is AWESOME…but the next one after it is even better “hooked up with hitler.” They end up getting bit off by the shark, to which their response is “what the f*ck…how did that happen.” UMMMM let’s see it happened because it was a 14′+ great hammerhead. And then they ask the even dumber question, “do you think we need bigger rigs….” UM YEA!
Awesome footage though. And I would be one of those guys trying to entice it closer.
