Cameron Kirkconnell Party/Seminar/Club Meeting Ft. Pierce Jan 28

Just got invited by the Treasure Coast Skin Divers to be the Guest Speaker for their inaugural Meeting on the 28th of January in Fort Pierce. Having dove down there off and on since I was a kid it will be cool to hang out with all the guys and girls from there and the chance to bring them together and help them kick of a good club from the start is a real honor.
We are still looking at a venue, the bar they had planned on was too small apparently to hold the rowdy bunch. If you are in the area or just want to come and hang out and talk story I’m sure we’ll be there all afternoon and the guys will be diving that day and the next morning and I believe have a little tournament too.
Ft. Pierce is a gem in that you have bluewater not too far out and can shoot a limit of Grouper and lobster from a shore dive. Its just above the transition zone and what I think of was Central Florida Diving (north of Stuart inlet up to North Daytona)
It holds the biggest Gags on the East Coast of Florida in relatively shallow water and has a great artificial reef program with piles of good wrecks and tons and tons of INCREDIBLE ledges.
If you are anywhere near the area and want to make a day of it, come down and hang out with us. I’ll do my best to bring the knowledge gained from the dozens of clubs I’ve met in my travels to make this one the best it can possibly be.
And if not, then at least we’ll get to have a few beers together and talk about killing fish! I can promise it will be entertaining and if you have been looking for a good place to shore dive on the East coast where you can shoot cob, permit, grouper, hogfish, muttons, mangroves and everything else we have to offer then this is the place to come and learn and meet the guys and girls that do it.
