Pics tell… of a thousand sharks and a few fish. Some days you wonder what the hell you are doing out there in the blue and if it will even be possible if and when the fish do come.
With all this talk of saving the sharks, whoever the hell thinks they are extinct has obviously not spent that much time in the ocean in the past five years.
These pics are the closest I can bring you to the experience of hunting wahoo in the bluewater without actually getting your fins chewed on and feeling your bungey line fly through your hands…

Relaxing for a dive is pretty hard when you have an entourage of 8-10 ft Dusky Sharks all up in your grill

Even if you do make it down, they are still there, wondering what the hell you are up to and waiting for the inevitable...

And then a few good friends show up and you start to think it may be possible to actually spear a fish today...

Striped up and hauling ass away from you the first run of a 80lb Wahoo is one of the most exhilarating experiences you'll ever have below the surface

It's on! But not over, when the Hoo's are thick so are the big pelagic sharks and you'll find that once they get a taste of that sweet, soft white flesh they will follow you around for the rest of the day waiting for a free meal. Time to man up, get him to you, and hope that you have a good buddy to come and push them off

Don't forget to take a look behind you... this was about the 47th time someone almost got bitten this day... no fish is worth it

Hand on the tail, one in the gills. Watch your back and get the boat over there and get him away from the bites
