Best Bets:

Our goal for this spear fishing day was speared something big for dinner !!

If you want to shoot something big this week hunt:

If you are just looking for dinner hunt:

There were some Wahoos during the diving, but small wahoos and some of them was shy and it was difficult to approach this fishes.

In order to attract them, we threw in the water some pieces of fishes with patience and motivation my friend Edward speared a Wahoo of 12 Kgs (= 26 Lb) nice shot and nice fight with the fish.

And later a big Spanish mackerel over 22 Kg (= 48 Lb) came into the pieces of fishes very excited and starved.

So my friend Nicolas swam to him slowly and the mackerel let him to approach it so close… WOAW!!

He shot it and land it so easily at the beginning!! But the fish woke up and fought with Nico while a long time. When Nico caught the fish in his arms, the size of the mackerel was impressive! Nice fish!

Later, Nico and Edward return to the boat while me, I stayed in the blue water with a friend and I continued to cut some pieces of fishes with hope to make my own pelagic. I was there, seeing the fishes’ pieces flowing to the depths. And a moment, I felt a presence in my back, so I turned my self…

Surprising!! a pretty good Mahi mahi very curious came to see so close to me with beautiful colors… I shot it and land it so easily No fight and a good shot, I was so happy!!

So everybody in the boat was glad, it was a nice and cool spearfishing trip.

It’s the kind of day we can’t forget
