As of today I’m officially an FII (Freedive Instructors International) Level One instructor after 10 days of training with 12 time world record holder Martin Stepanek.
Myself and Jason Teal took the course in Cayman Brac and as you can see the conditions were really gorgeous on some of the days and we were lucky to have the weather cooperate most of the time.
I’ve learned so much in ten days of diving and already improved my form and safety skills more than I have in the past 10 years combined.
As an instructor, I now have the chance to pass these skills on and make you a better safer diver. Whether it is your first day or you’ve been diving your whole life, this course is a must have.
The techniques and skills learned here are immeasurable and will have you shooting more fish, diving deeper, and more confident in the water after only a few days.
I’ll be doing courses around the world this year, private and with some dive shops as well. If you are looking to improve your diving and want to set up a course in your area, shoot me an email and we will put it together.
Thanks again to Martin Stepanek for an incredible course and gift of being a part of this drive to make Freediving safer and advance ourselves safely as we go deeper and land bigger fish!

I’ve been shopping for an instructor/opportunity to take Freediver I; do you have schedule posted yet with details?
Hey Cameron,
Congrats on completing your FII course. If you’re going to be in the area, would be awesome if you could come to Papua New Guinea and hold a free diving course here. There is a pretty big community of spearos and free divers here that would love to learn how to improve their game. Not to mention, PNG has some of the best reefs in the world…
